Naomi received her Bachelor of Science degree in English Education and a Master of Education from the University of Georgia. She served as Treasurer and Board Member of Tranquilidad Foundation when it was first created. She is a member of the Rose and Dahlia Garden Club in Athens, Georgia and serves as Treasurer. Naomi is an active member of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church in Watkinsville, Georgia, currently leading the Disciple 3 Bible Study, teaching an adult Sunday School class, and serving on the Mission and Care Team Committees.

Most of Naomi’s working life consisted of writing and administering Community Block Grants for cities and counties in the State of Georgia. She has also written three devotional books, “Everyday Awe”, with proceeds from the sale of her third book dedicated to TQ.

Naomi has been married to her husband, Barry, for over 44 years. They have one married daughter and are ‘Nomi’ and ‘Pap Pap’ to their beloved grandsons, Sam and Charlie. Barry and Naomi live in Athens, Georgia.
