Emma has loved Tranquilidad since 2015 when she came here on her first mission trip. Through serving with TQ over the years, she became greatly burdened for people, especially children, that have experienced trauma. Her experiences with TQ were a huge motivator in her pursuit of education to love and serve people well. Emma pursued her Master of Social Work, as well as sought out training from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Childhood Development, where she became a TBRI practitioner her first year at grad school in 2023. Emma currently works as a clinical case manager for a residential program providing crisis intervention and assessment services for youth ages 5-17 in Forth Worth, TX. TQ has been an intricate part of her life story and she is “truly humbled to get to be a voice on the board!”
