Jerold Taylor

TREASURER

Jerry Taylor is retired from the U.S. Department of Energy after over 43 years of federal service. He is also retired from the United States Navy, having served on submarines.

He is a lifelong Christian and has served on the governing bodies of several churches, as an adult Sunday school teacher and Leader for Steven Ministry.

Jerry went to Honduras for the first time in June of 1999 along with Sam Turnipseed and has worked with both Sam and Roxanne on mission trips numerous times. He served on the task force with Roxanne to develop a non-profit which serves the people of Honduras and has been on its board of directors since 2003, serving as construction committee chairman, vice president and president. Jerry strongly believes that the Tranquilidad mission is a call from God to help children in the greatest need in one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere.
